We all have our favourite clubs and players so one persons taste is another’s hate. For example - maybe you have certain photo’s of your much loved club and wish for these to be apart of the canvas, then it’s just a case of emailing them to Myphoto@footyfrenzy.co.uk and we will add them to your club theme before sending previews back for you to view. We will do this each and every step of the way until your picture is complete and you are happy to buy the finished canvas.

We may already have a Football Club on canvas of your taste in the gallery pages so have a browse and view the Premiership Clubs available at the moment.

Football Gifts

We all know somebody who is just a fanatic when it come to Football and what would make a better gift regardless of their age than to have their own image built in with their precious Football Club on canvas. These type of football gifts will indeed be kept for many of years to come. Have a compilation of their favourite players from today with some of the legends from the past and hand them a gift that really does mean something. Perhaps you have more than one image you would like to use, Brothers, Sisters, Mum and Dad or the whole Family then just email these photo’s together with the name of the Football Club and the list of players that you or they would like on the canvas and leave the rest to us. If you are not a follower of Football and are not sure about the players that should be included in regards to the Club then let Footyfrenzy do the compilation for you where we will use various well known players from different periods in history for that Football Club.

Remember that you are not obliged to pay for any product at any time so if your not sure about the previews emailed back of your canvas or maybe your not happy with the photo you sent or just simply changed your mind then that’s fine. Only agree for us to print and frame your canvas when you are totally happy with the piece.  As standard practice at Footyfrenzy we will keep your compilation on file for 30 days ( unless suggested to do otherwise ) , so feel free to return at any time.

The precise origins of where football actual was conceived are not known and this will probably always be the case. Simply because it goes that far back in history it’s impossible to say. On every continent there is some reference to an ancient team game played with a ball. China in particularly appears to mention this kind of game as long as 4000 years ago, with the Egyptians, Romans and Greeks not far behind. But as for identifying who or arguing where that’s just absurd and not really obtainable now. The earliest forms of football as we know them today stem from English Schools and Universities around the 1800’s. The first organised team that played a passing game to each other is believed to be the Royal Engineers AFC in 1870. But preceding this it was Cambridge University and some other members from various Universities like Harrow and Eton that drew up the first rules for football in 1848.

The game was for ever increasing with more Clubs been formed outside the typical University scenario and in 1863 some of these Clubs met and created their own rules and with this the FA was born. Some of the FA rules were similar to the Cambridge rules, one of these been you could still handle the ball with your hands in certain situations but these were amended and removed later with only allowing the feet to be used.

Today it is estimated that football or soccer as it is more commonly referred to in some countries, especially the USA has a fan base of over 3 billion people making it by far the most popular sport on the planet.

Certainly there is a percentage of the population that has no interest in football for one reason or another but football has given us such gifts in different ways. Whether its the football gifts you give or receive from a loved one on Christmas Day, Birthdays, Fathers Day or Mothers Day, these tend to mean so much more than the average gift to the football person. What about watching your children play in their first little league or tournament or the jubilation of seeing him or her scoring their first goal. For some parents and coaches alike, it’s the appreciation of seeing all those hard years of dedication finally flourishing when their child or player gets picked by the bigger Club. Then there’s the thrill to the millions of spectators in stadiums, in their locals or at home watching their Football Club in action. Football gifts for many are the endless conversations and banter on a Monday morning with work mates about the weekends matches.
